59E59 Theaters is seeking a full time Membership Coordinator for a busy not-for-profit Off-Broadway theater complex located at 59 East 59th Street in New York City. The building contains three performing spaces and presents a curated program of the best American and international theatrical works new to New York City produced by not-for-profit companies. The Theater presents about 36 plays per year.
This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and plays a key role in recruitment and retention of the Theaters’ membership program. Key responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, meticulous, even-tempered, kind, good-humored, have a pleasing phone manner, be a compelling writer, and familiarity with computerized ticketing systems is a bonus. In addition, the Coordinator will also have some event management duties, planning and promoting events for 30 and Under nights, and quarterly member events.
