With Richard Masur as Bernard and Eve Johnson as Rory

Bernard just wants to sit on his roof to enjoy a drink and get some peace and quiet.

When his 9-year-old new neighbor, Rory discovers him out there, peace and quiet are the last things on her mind. A funny story full of heart, in which two eccentric people form an unlikely friendship.

The Collective NY

The Collective unites professional artists who share a responsibility to create work in the contemporary American theater that is emotionally truthful, socially relevant, and defiantly accessible. The company was established in the tradition of the group theater out of a belief that the current conditions of commercialized theater necessitate collective action. Commitment to a permanent ensemble distinguishes The Collective. Through a shared vocabulary, uniform technique, and continual practice, the group pursues a common purpose: to establish a theater that is uncompromising, relevant, and inclusive.
