Happenstance Theater
Happenstance Theater, founded in 2006, is a professional company committed to devising, producing and touring original, performer-created visual, poetic Theatre. Their ensemble has been developing work together since 2012. They are multi-talented performers who craft all aspects of their pieces from concept to realization. Under the Artistic co-Direction of Mark Jaster and Sabrina Mandell, they harvest imagery from the past and re-contextualize it in performances that address eternal themes of life, death, and the ephemeral. With the simplest means - movement, silence, theatrical clown, music, text, physical comedy and beauty - they seek to elevate the moment when the performers and audience meet, to lift the encounter beyond the daily and pedestrian into the realms of dreams, poetry, and art. Meaning is often discovered by happenstance.

Penguin Rep Theatre
Penguin Rep Theatre was founded in 1977 with the aim of establishing Rockland County's first year-round nonprofit professional theatre. Penguin's mission is to promote new voices and produce new works for the stage, to nurture and develop emerging talent, and to reach new audiences. Integral to Penguin's mission is the development and sharing of enduring stories that offer a wide canvas of emotions, with an emphasis on those that raise awareness of injustice, promote conversation, and offer chances to connect with universal hopes, challenges and dreams

Negro Ensemble Company
The mission of the Negro Ensemble Company, Inc. (NEC) is to provide African-American, African and Caribbean professional artists with an opportunity to learn, to work, to grow and to be nurtured in the performing arts. The overall mission of the NEC is to present live theatre performances by and about black people to a culturally diverse audience that is often under-served by the theatrical community.
