A young man called Milo arrives in Scotland with an urn and a promise – to eulogize the recent death of his childhood best friend. The task proves more difficult than Milo anticipates, and he seeks assistance from the attendees to complete the memorial. A EULOGY FOR ROMAN is a dark-comedy, solo-show premiere with audience interaction.

Brendan George and Peter Charney

Brendan George (Writer/Performer) As a solo performer, Brendan starred in the US premiere of Bleach (Wilson Lounge) and the world premiere of The Crisis Actor (Laurie Beechman Theatre). He has performed in new works at FringeNYC, The Tank, The Flea Theater, and Williamstown Theatre Festival, among others. A EULOGY FOR ROMAN marks his professional writing debut. Peter Charney (Director) is a generative director who has collaborated with companies such as The Drama League, The Old Globe, New York Musical Festival, Irondale Center, and Musical Theatre Factory. He is the director and composer of Bright and Brave: a new musical, which has received multiple workshops and a 2019 production residency at Dixon Place. He is an alum of the 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, the Yale Directing Intensive, and is a proud associate member of SDC. BFA Directing: Hofstra University.
