Charismatic comedian Lisa Faith Phillips as Dr. Faith whips up an “outrageously funny, devilishly clever and wildly entertaining” (Newyorkcool.com) self-help seminar with original songs “Embrace Your Inner Bad Girl” and “The Fellatio Tango.”
Lisa Faith Phillips has been a Participating Artist at The Cherry Lane Theater and Manhattan Punch Line’s Comedy Corps in New York and a member of theater companies in London, Barcelona and Findlay, Ohio. She has written and performed stand-up in clubs and on television and danced in Bette Midler’s and Mick Jagger’s Beast of Burden music video. Her other shows include: How To Be A Bad Girl, Faith In Love and All-Nude College-Girl Revueor Why I Can’t Pass the Vetting, which had a sold-out run at the DC Capital Fringe Festival in 2012. Next she will be performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival August 19-24, 2013. Her full-length play, The All-Nude College-Girl Revue, opened at Soho's Synchronicity Space before moving to The Samuel Beckett Theater for an extended run. Her first play, At All Times, opened the Director's Project Festival at Synchronicity Space. She has a degree in French and Economics from Wellesley College, a M.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics, and studied music theory at Juilliard. She works in publishing.
