For this limited engagement Peter and Will are joined by special guests, saxophone star Harry Allen, the incomparable Kenny Washington on drums, and the unique sound of Pat Bianchi on the legendary Hammond B-3 organ, in a heady jazz extravaganza of ballad, blues, bebop, big band, bossa nova and boogaloo!

Peter and Will Anderson

“Virtuosos on clarinet and saxophone,” (The New York Times) Washington, DC natives and identical twins Peter and Will Anderson are known for their unique renditions of classic jazz songs and innovative original music. Since moving to New York to attend Juilliard in 2005, the Andersons have performed with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Village Vanguard Orchestra, Jimmy and Tootie Heath, Wycliffe Gordon, Cecile McLorin Salvant, Paquito D’Rivera, and Kenny Barron. The Andersons have headlined at The Blue Note, Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, New Orleans Jazz Festival, Sarasota Florida Jazz Festival, DC’s Blues Alley, and Arizona Music Festival. Their ensemble has performed in over 40 U.S. states, toured Japan, and has been featured four times in NYC’s famed Highlights in Jazz series, alongside Lou Donaldson, Ken Peplowski, and Warren Vache. Peter and Will’s debut release Correspondence was listed in Vanity Fair magazine alongside Miles Davis in “Four New Releases to Make You Love Jazz.” The Washington Post called their music, “imaginatively unfolding in ways that consistently bring a fresh perspective to classic jazz tunes.” In 2016, they performed live on Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Companion, playing a duo version of Billy Strayhorn's “Lotus Blossom."
