Two rare English chamber operas: one a tale of comic hypocrisy, the other a tale of pure devotion.
The Wandering Scholar is an amusing tale of a young wife, a Priest, and a traveling scholar; and what the husband finds when he returns home.
Sāvitri is a mythic tale of love to the lover, the child to the mother, the song to the singer, a wife to her husband.
